Ready for this pink beach sunset engagement with Whitney + Justin? Buckle in for some laughs, puddle splashes, and the sweetest lil moments between these two amazing people.
Whitney + Justin asked to shoot at this beautiful spot near Port Orchard that they frequent when they kayak on the Sound! To get to the beach, you start up on a bluff where the parking lot is and head down to the water. When Whitney + Justin pulled into the parking lot, I was finishing scarfing down an M&M McFlurry; first impressions are everything, right? From there, we shimmied our way down and immediately headed for a fallen tree that was covered with water by the time our session was complete.
We wandered around the beach for a bit and then headed into the beach grasses. There was beautiful orange ____ < we still don’t know what this moss-like thing was that covered the grass, but it was really fun to look at. We became part-time scientists trying to figure it out together. The orange added a pop of color to the beautiful blues and greens the Puget Sound has to offer.
After a quick outfit change, we explored the beach. Whitney looked SO GOOD in her pink skirt and it played off the pink beach sunset too. We played in the beach and Justin even had a go at splashing Whitney, just to get it right back. We were giggling our butts off! The best part was, once Whitney noticed that water got on her skirt, she just turned it around and POOF! No more water! To say Justin and I were amazed was an understatement.
